@#!&in' Slayer!...

Since it's now October and that creepy crawly candy filled holiday is on it's way, I thought I'd post a skull and crossbones. A good skull seems on first thought to be really easy, it took a some work to get this thing right. Not going for realism here, but sort of that cool skull you always drew on your crappy paper bag book covers in junior high school while listening to Slayer and Iron Maiden... come on, you know you all did it. ;)

Yep, I wish I would have saved those ol' trapper keepers with the skulls on 'em. I really like that hat with the 33. Kinda pulls it all together. Great post!

Aaaaahhhh, "The" Maiden they were known as in my neck of the woods. Don't forget Guns N Roses while you're at it if we're talking shameful old rock fandom.

Come to think of it those bands are all still around in some way shape and form. Jeez, Maiden were old enough to be my dad when I was a kid and I'm 34 now!

Great work, Chris :-)

you said it. Skulls on first thought are easy, but then you wind up with a realistic skull and not a cool stylish one thats not too cartoony.
Nice job.
