Suckers!...

Here's another of the 33's. Hopefully it's apparent that it's some form of octopus-ish creature. It's no secret that I'm a monstrous fan of black and white work and I'll jump at any chance to draw and ink up something like this. The "33's" on this blog are works that I've enjoyed tremendously, and there's a lot more on the way. Hope you like 'em!

Again a very fine 33! :) And your last post is very cool too. I second the "more illustrations" everywhere sentiment!

Very cool! How long does a piece like this usually take you?

Thanks Sarah! and thanks tony c! You know, I've heard that question somewhere recently, it's tough to answer. I'll sit with my art-director at House and hash out the things we want to get into the drawing, once we do that, I'll sketch it out roughly, that may take a couple hours. The inking takes 6-8 hours give or take depending on how the days going. If I've got my Pop Tarts and coffee it goes a lot faster than if I don't. :)
